Established in 1953 by Donald James Norman, Norman Motors carries the distinction of being the oldest family run motor trade business in Dorset, now in its third successive generation.
During this time the business has built a proud reputation for excellent quality of workmanship on vehicles we service and repair. and sales of quality used cars since our doors first opened over 50 Years ago in 1953.

Originally the garage consisted of a single house used for selling cars from the ground floor with a single forecourt for petrol sales in wallisdown, Bournemouth.

Eventually as the business grew additional developments included a dedicated workshop environment and a new sales forecourt built on the adjacent lot.

In 1978 we purchased our site in Ferndown and re-developed it to what you see today. Now with a 60 car forecourt and 5 bay workshop we have carried on the same level of friendly service you expect from a family run business that Donald Norman began all those years ago.
